They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

Are they comfortable?

They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Bonus, they’re already softened so your feet just slide in.

Do they hold up well?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
